Sweet Pea!

Well, in spite of the rain the Heard family had a Happy 1st Halloween with little Paul.  He dressed up as "a pea in the pod" which happens to be very fitting.  We have called him our little pea pod since the day he was born because of how he looked swaddled up so tight.  Mimi Helen came up to visit and Paul is so happy to be with her!

The little pea pod, one day old!

Waiting on the Trick or Treaters.

Look at those cheeks, seriously!

Baby Skeleton

Sunday our neighborhood put on the 13th Annual, Del Ray Halloween Parade. We took Paul to watch everyone walk down the main street in their costumes. Paul went as a skeleton saving his actual Halloween costume for the BIG day. His idea of course;)
The parade was really cute, people spend weeks preparing for this day. One entire street connected their strollers to form the "Hogwart's Express". I have never seen so much creativity!

"Why did you wake me up from my nap for this?"

Ramblin' Wreck

This weekend we headed to Charlottesville to see the Jackets take on Virginia. We had such a great time. It was Paul's first Tech game and we know his Grandfather would have been so proud. He was ready to cheer decked from head to toe in White and Gold. We tailgated with the Georgia Tech DC Alumni chapter and it was a great time. The president of Tech and his wife came and we met several fun graduates that live in our area. It was quite possibly the rainiest game Preston and I have ever been to--it POURED the entire time! Little Paul stayed cozy and dry in his stroller covered by a weather shield but we were soaked when it was all said and done!

Drenched...

A sleeping little jacket!

Cheer Worthy!
